My Story

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the world of event planning. From my early days in student government, where I eagerly helped organize school dances, retreats, and rallies, to my college years when I orchestrated events for my dance and figure skating teams, my path was already set, without me even knowing it. Even then, as an Event Manager for the school’s rec center, I didn’t realize just how deeply events were woven into my life.

It wasn’t until a good friend of mine made a passing comment that he thought I’d make a great wedding planner that I had actually considered going into events full-time. That one comment has stuck with me for years and years, and has ignited a spark within me – one that has driven me to create and run Life in Love Events.

My natural high energy and social nature, along with my propensity for talking (a lot!), perfectly align with event planning. There’s a profound synergy between me and this profession, especially when it comes to wedding planning. It just fits, and I adore every aspect of it.

The moment I step into an event, a serene aura envelops me. People often ask, “Isn’t wedding planning stressful?” Yes, it is, but it’s a unique kind of stress. It’s a stress that doesn’t feel like stress to me; it’s the kind of stress I thrive on.

Wedding planning, to me, is like solving a puzzle. I love the challenge of crafting the perfect event, from seamlessly coordinating the logistics of the big day to infusing my couples’ personalities into every aspect. I welcome any roadblocks that come my way throughout the planning process and on the event day, because I see them as opportunities to find creative solutions and make the pieces of the puzzle fit together.
